Managers Profile

Katy Moore

Katy grew up outside of San Francisco riding and showing horses. It was at Bay Meadows Race Track when she was 8 years old that she discovered horse racing. She went to the University of Arizona where she graduated with a degree from the Race Track Industry Program in 2002. Knowing that she wanted to work in the Thoroughbred industry she moved to Lexington and worked for Darby Dan and Castleton Lyons farms. After several years at Castleton Lyons, Katy went to work for Darley Farm in Australia. She experienced the vibrant world of racehorse syndication in Australia first-hand and was determined to bring those lessons and experiences to bear in America. She is the primary manager of the Fasig-Tipton Racing Club

Reed Ringler

A native of sunny California, Reed's introduction to horse racing came as he devotedly followed the great Fasig-Tipton sales graduate and Triple Crown legend, Seattle Slew. Ironically, it was not horses that brought him to Kentucky, but golf and he spent several years working as a Golf Pro. Eventually, however, Reed was identified by Darley Farm and brought on board as a Nominations Manager in their stallion division. After several years at that farm, Reed joined Fasig-Tipton. In addition to his duties with the Racing Club, Reed is one of the announcers at Fasig-Tipton auctions, helping the process that brings bids of hundreds of thousands of dollars for Thoroughbred horses.
