The Fasig-Tipton Racing Club is an effort to introduce new persons to the world of Thoroughbred horse racing. This will be done through the lease and syndication of currently racing horses. The Racing Club is administered through Fasig-Tipton, a Thoroughbred auction house. Fasig-Tipton has been in existence since 1898 and is one of the leading auction houses of Thoroughbreds in the world and the United States.

Horses leased and managed by the Fasig-Tipton Racing Club are horses currently in training. They have been leased from prominent owners in the Thoroughbred industry. For their year with the Fasig-Tipton Racing Club, they run in the colors and under the management of the club. After a period of one year, each horse is returned to their owners upon the termination of the leases. The goal of the Fasig-Tipton Racing Club is to introduce new individuals to the world of horse racing by managing the racing careers of the horses and allowing the members to focus on the thrill and excitement of the sport without being forced to pay the high start-up costs required to build a racing stable.

Each member of the Fasig-Tipton Racing Club will be provided with regular communication from the managers regarding the training status of each of the horses managed by the Fasig-Tipton Racing Club. This will include but not be limited to information on works and notifications when the horses are going to race. When Fasig-Tipton Racing Club horses compete, members will participate as owners. They will be given the opportunity to see the horse in the paddock, talk strategy with the trainer and hear the instructions to the jockey. Fasig-Tipton Racing Club will facilitate tickets, access and other arrangements to members on days in which a Fasig-Tipton Racing Club horse is racing.
